Mongolia's electronic visa, known as e-visa, was launched on June 1, 2021, by The Government of Mongolia. This digital visa system is designed to simplify the traditional visa application method, allowing applicants to complete the visa application and obtain a valid visa from anywhere. 

The Mongolia electronic visa is granted to citizens of eligible countries for travel purposes, including tourism, casual visits to their relatives/ friends in Mongolia, and transit. 98 nationalities can get a Mongolian electronic visa with a few simple steps. There are two types of Mongolia e-visas available:

• Tourist e-visa: This visa is issued for citizens of eligible countries who wish to explore Mongolia's breathtaking landscapes or visit their relatives or friends.
• Transit e-visa: This visa caters to individuals transiting through Mongolia en route to another destination.

• Standard: The procedure is finalized in approximately 03 business days.
• Urgent: The process is expedited and takes about 02 business days.
• Super Urgent: This accelerated process is completed within 01 business day.
