For travel, transit, and conference-related purposes, visitors can now apply for a Rwandan e-visa online without having to visit the Embassies since 2018. Passengers who meet the requirements can apply online for an electronic version of this travel authorization. The need to physically visit an embassy or consulate has been removed from the Rwandan visa application process, streamlining the process. 

Rwanda e-visa is divided into 04 types of e-visa, which are:

• Tourist e-visa: The Tourist e-visa remains valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and permits a single entry, providing ample time for a comprehensive exploration of Rwanda's diverse attractions.
• East Africa e-visa:  You are allowed to spend up to 90 days in Rwanda and as many visits as you would like to both Rwanda and Kenya with an East Africa E-Visa. This kind of visa is granted to individuals who intend to visit Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda again, with Rwanda serving as their initial destination.
• Conference e-visa: The Rwanda Conference E-Visa has a maximum validity of 30 days per entry and allows a single entry to Rwanda.
• Transit e-visa: A person transiting Rwanda for a period of not more than 72 hours. Upon arrival, candidates must have a confirmed onward reservation from Rwanda to a third nation and have the necessary papers to enter that third country within 72 hours.

We've developed a streamlined online platform with the primary goal of simplifying the visa application process, substantially cutting down on the time and effort required compared to obtaining a conventional visa. Travelers have the flexibility to choose from three processing options for their eVisa:

• Normal: The application will be processed within 3 business days.
• Urgent: Processing time is approximately 2 business days.
• Super Urgent: This accelerated process will be completed within 1 business day.

As a result, travelers should apply for a Rwanda eVisa at least a week in advance. However, some nations are eligible for this form of visa. Please verify visa requirements based on your nationality in order to obtain an eVisa!
