Who is eligible to apply for an Indonesia E-visa?

Currently, there are 97 nationalities eligible to apply for an Indonesian e-visa, including some large countries such as the UAE, the UK, and the United States. The Indonesian e-visa is an electronic type of visa that is issued for tourist-related activities, including:

  • Visit family or friends in Indonesia
  • Engage in short-term business activities, government business, purchasing goods, meetings, or transit.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, conventions, and exhibitions held in Indonesia as an attendee.

To be eligible for an e-visa, applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Indonesia. Since the eligible list for an Indonesia e-visa may change over time, foreigners are strongly advised to check eligibility on our website GVC. We will provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding the Indonesia e-visa, including eligibility, visa requirements, and processing time for visa applications.

Applicants must complete an online application form and provide the necessary documents to acquire an Indonesian e-visa, which may include a passport-sized photo and a scanned copy of the passport. Generally, the process is streamlined to facilitate ease of travel for tourists and business travelers, encouraging more visitors to Indonesia while maintaining security and regulatory standards.
